Struggle

Pluto
Your View
Never did he think he'd drink alcohol
Surrounded by his friends and the embers
The struggles of his past begin to call
He stares into the fire and remembers

He tried his best in his situation
Don't do this, don't do that, and he listened
Day by day he lost all motivation
He was "made" this way, so maybe God sinned

But alcohol can help this man forget
The pain of love and life and religion
Acceptance of his friends help his mind set
Resolve is instilled with a sip of gin

He knows now that it's no sin to be gay
The fire burns bright like his newfound pathway
